Classical Groove
William Kanengiser’s 2008-2009 programs will feature selections from his upcoming recording “Groovetune,” which will explore the rhythmic drive and quiet lyricism of American Fingerstyle pieces, including works by Ralph Towner, Pat Metheny, and Chet Atkins.  The recital program will also feature masterworks from the Classical Period, including works of Mozart, Paganini, and Fernando Sor (known as “the Chopin of the guitar”).

Guitar & String Quartet
Mr. Kanengiser will continue to collaborate with string quartet, playing guitar quintets by Boccherini, Giuliani, and contemporary composers Ian Krouse and Dusan Bogadanovic.
